Soccer Jersey Collection

I’ve been looking for a new soccer jersey for my son. He is an avid soccer player and his favorite shirt to wear is actually a soccer jersey. I never used to think that a soccer jersey was appropriate for every occasion, but he has changed my mind.

We had a lot of fun watching World Cup Soccer this last summer. This was one of the first times that my son was old enough to appreciate it. He wore a soccer jersey for one of his favorite players during the final game.

I think that my son is trying to accumulate a soccer jersey for every organized sports team that there is! He already has at least a dozen. My favorite soccer jersey in his collection is his soccer jersey for Liverpool Soccer. It is a bright red home soccer jersey for #10, Luis Garcia.

My son’s soccer hero is Zidane. He has his favorite soccer jersey which has Zidane’s name and his number. It is actually an away game soccer jersey for the Real Madrid soccer team. He was on the national team of France during the World Cup.

My husband gave our son a soccer jersey that had Zidane and #10. It was the away game soccer jersey for the French national team and it was my personal favorite this year. The soccer jersey itself is basically white with a stripe of colors across the chest.

I bought the Zidane soccer jersey that was used for home games and was blue. My son has a different soccer jersey for every day of the week, now! I was initially disappointed in my son’s hero during the World Cup game where he head-butted Italian player Materazzi. I have since read news reports that Materazzi was insulting Zidane’s mother and sister.

There have been several occasions where I’ve tried to buy my son the USA national team soccer jersey and he has turned me down flat in favor of another team. The last time we were looking for a soccer jersey together, I picked out a USA soccer jersey and he picked out an Argentinian soccer jersey.
